Rian Patel

Rian Patel is a technology entrepreneur and the Founder and Managing Director of Veda. At ImaginAND, he works as Fractional CTO through Veda, helping translate the venture’s research and conceptual foundations into a credible technology product, commercial proposition and delivery roadmap.

His role sits between business and technology: shaping what should be built, how the product should be positioned, which capabilities need to exist, and how the venture can move from an ambitious theory to a secure and usable platform.

Through Veda, Rian has led work across AI strategy, operational transformation, custom software and technology ventures. Veda’s wider model starts with understanding the underlying business or institutional problem before recommending software, automation or AI. That same discipline informs the approach to ImaginAND.

Rian is building the Veda Group, including Veda AI and Veda Software, with a focus on helping organisations make better technology decisions and turn complex ideas into properly executed systems. His work on ImaginAND forms part of Veda’s growing body of venture and fractional-technology leadership work.

At ImaginAND, Rian’s priorities include product strategy, technology direction, commercialisation, venture development and coordinating Veda’s contribution to the platform.
